I love looking at quality fabrics, touching fabrics, examining their fabric content, durability, cleanability, and then deciding what and where they would be best suited for in our livable spaces. Is it durable enough for upholstery? Does it drape luxurious enough for a window treatment? Or, is it soft enough for some yummy pillows? Yes, who wouldn't get excited about all those possibilities!

So, when our fabric rep Cindy Stephenson comes calling to let us preview the Spring 2015 Osborne & Little and Designers Guild fabric introductions, the studioZiffer design team gather around our workroom table, gushing with excitement at every sample! We do a careful edit and order the final fabric samples that best showcase our design aesthetic.

The next day, Tamara Bartley from Stroheim fabric visits us carrying in their new spring fabric introductions, and again we at studioZiffer gather around the workroom table to order up delicious samples of our favorite fabrics and trims.

These meetings play a key role in the inspiration required to design current & fabulous spaces…. Yes, it is the quality of fabrics you bring to your space that confirm your room is well adorned.

Ok, now we are off to the San Francisco Design Center to preview the new fabric designed by Jeffrey Alan Marks - JAM for Kravet.
